A “Welcome Packet” is sent to new members to provide resources to read and share with care providers.  The packets are thoughtfully designed to welcome and engage new members with valuable resources and information.  Each packet includes an introduction to HPS, providing an overview of its mission and activities, along with science articles to educate.  Members will also find details on how to connect with HPS through social media, fostering a sense of community and ongoing involvement. These packets reflect HPS’s commitment to inclusivity and its dedication to enriching the experience of every member. We also offer to send a professional packet to any members’ medical care providers.

For children, the packets are tailored to be both educational and fun, featuring a first aid kit to promote safety and a special giving doll for toddlers, encouraging nurturing and imaginative play.

Included in all Welcome Packets is a Medical Health Alert card with a QR code on the back that goes directly to a document to inform medical personnel about HPS in an emergency.
