Israel Rodriguez

Israel Rodriguez joined the Office of Student Affairs at the New York University School of Law in November of 2015. In his role as Director, Israel oversees the day-to-day administration of the office, implements academic enrichment programming for JD students, and serves as project manager for the Law School’s signature Student Affairs events. Israel is also responsible for all aspects related to student-run journals, including the administration of the annual writing competition for rising second year and transfer students as well as collaborating with student leaders on special events and symposia. Prior to joining the Law School, Israel served NYU’s Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS) in a variety of student affairs related roles since 2003. A first generation college attendee, Israel earned a bachelor’s degree in history/government from Muhlenberg College, a master’s degree in higher education administration from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University-Newark School of Law.
